History of Penobscot Group

Established in 1985 as claim and loss fraud investigations. The company added, by client request, TPA services initially focusing on the Commercial Transportation risks. TPA services have included property and ADD+D. The ADD+D section was dissolved in 1994.

All adjusters are licensed in all lines of insurance and two are licensed private investigators. We have two secretarial, two adminstration and one on staff IT persons responsible for the bordereaux and claim fund. The company is fully insured including $2,000,000 liability, which includes unfair claims practices. In addition, the insurance includes Fidelity Bond, Workers Compensation, Property and General Liability.

Over a 28 year period investigations for clients has included Australia, Italy, Germany, Dubai, France and England.
